1. Your Energy Type
One of the first things you can learn from your human design chart is your energy type. Many people view it as the spiritual version of a Myers-Briggs personality type. There are five human-design energy types: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector or Reflector.
By understanding your own energy type, you can better understand the way you exchange energy with those around you. Your unique energy can be applied to all areas of life, such as relationships, work, sleep, digestion, and creativity. When your unique energy is aligned, there is more ease and flow in your life.

Another thing that you can learn from your human design chart is your authority type. This is what your specific intuition looks and feels like. It is your body’s inner knowing if a decision is the right one for you aka your intuition. While everyone has an inner guidance system, but the way we access and receive this guidance differs depending on our authority type. There are seven main authority types: Emotional Authority, Sacral Authority, Splenic Authority, Environment/No Inner Authority, Self-Projected Authority, Lunar Cycle Authority, Ego Authority. By understanding your authority type, you can better understand how you make decisions that are aligned with your highest good.
3. Your Profile Type
Another element of human design that you can learn from your chart is your profile type. This is the personality archetype that lives within you. There are 12 Human Design Profile types. These are
- 1-3 (Investigator/Experiential-Martyr)
- 1-4 (Investigator/Opportunist)

Whereas the second number is collected from the unconscious part of your chart, which often means that others may be able to see it more than you see it yourself.

Last but not least, your human design chart can also reveal your strategy type. This is how you manifest your dreams into reality more effortlessly. Each has a specific description of how best to find a more aligned life. For each energy type, there is a way you go about making things happen in your life, manifesting, and or creating.
