What is Human Design and Why Should I Care?
Have you ever wondered why you’re drawn to certain things and repelled by others? Have you ever questioned why you act the way you do or make the decisions you make? If so, Human Design may have the answers you’re looking for.
Human Design is a system that tells you about yourself based on your exact time, date, and place of birth. By taking this information, a chart is created called a “bodygraph”. Grab your free copy here. It’s an energetic blueprint, and is essentially a mix of Kabbalah, I’Ching, astrology, and the chakra system all in one. Because Human Design is so complex and overwhelming at first glance, it can seem like just a bunch of shapes, colors, and numbers. But what does all of this mean? And more importantly, what does it have to do with YOU? Keep reading to find out!
How does Human Design use Kabbalah?
Human Design uses Kabbalah to show you which energies are at work in your life. The Tree of Life is a map of all the possibilities of human experience, and by understanding which energies are active in your chart, you can get a better sense of what you’re here to do and experience in this lifetime. These are shown with the channels connecting different energy centers.
How does Human Design use I’Ching?
I’Ching is the Chinese Book of Changes, and it’s used in creating your Human Design Profile. There are 6 profile lines, when combined they create 12 profiles. The Profile line in your chart represents the unconscious traits that you might not immediately recognize about yourself, but that others will see. This may be indicative of the path you’re meant to take in life. There are 64 hexagrams within I Ching, which correspond to the 64 gates that appear on each energy center
What does Human Design have to do with Astrology?
To create a Human Design Chart then you need to know your exact time, date, and place of birth. This is because the position of the planets and stars at the time of your birth has a big influence on your chart. The planets are represented by symbols, and each planet has a specific meaning. By understanding the planetary energies at work in your chart, you can get a better sense of yourself and how you fit into the world.
How does Human Design use the Charkas system?
Human Design uses the chakra system to show you which energies are active in your life. The chakras are energy centers that run along the spine, and each one corresponds to a different area of life. The nine energy centers in Human Design are Head, Ajna, Throat, G-Center/Self, Ego/Heart, Spleen, Sacral, Solar Plexus, and the Root.
What Does Human Design Mean for YOU?
Gaining an understanding of the overall energies at play gives us further clarity into our own personal truths and how we fit into the world around us. It becomes another tool in our human experience toolbelt that can be used (or not used) as we see fit.
Human Design is not intended to label us or put us into boxes but rather to give us a greater understanding and acceptance of ourselves, and everyone else. We are all here to play very specific roles in the world and when we are able to step into those roles with confidence and ease, magic happens!
